We had an enjoyable weekend in a hotel that had tons of character and history. One of the best aspects is that the room was very spacious and well equipped with AC, fridge and a kettle. the hotel is located in a quaint village with fascinating heritage shops and houses. We absolutely loved the fixed menu with unique options and the pre-dinner cocktails around the campfire were an impressive touch.
We did face some minor setbacks. the towels were not up to the mark and we had to ask for replacements.

Well-kept gardens. Delicious breakfast and fresh jams. Friendly and accommodating staff. Spacious and character-filled rooms. Delicious food, including off-menu options. Within walking distance to a historic village.
